Geirangerfjord, Norway

Geirangerfjord is one of Norway's most visited tourist sites and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005.

Can't wait to see this!

what a peaceful place
I'd really love to visit norwegian fjords

I believe this qualify as : F-AWESOME... f***ing awesome! very very nice pic! =)

The fjords in Norway are the best in the world. Especially the trip from Oslo to Bergen via train, bus and cruise is something every traveller in the world should consider. Read more at

Nope - the two best fjords in the world are Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound in New Zealand (Tripadvisor rated Milford Sound as the Number one tourist destination in the world last year)

The Kiwis are just jealous. Milford Sound is gorgeous, but Geirangerfjord has an almost magical quality.

That's interesting considering National Geographic named Norway's East coast The Most Beautiful Place in the World, and named Norway's fjords the World's #1 Tourist Attraction.
I haven't been to those places you mentioned and they must be beautiful but I have been to Norway's fjords and I can't imagine anything more breath-taking.

This is a great route, but you won't see many fjords there, instead you will see fantastic mountains and plateaus.
If you wanna see fjords, try south-north route, from Stavanger to Ålesund. On this route you will see IMO the best fjords in Norway, including Geiranger Fjord. Take a look here:

This place is really gorgeous.
